BIO
Born in 1997 in Jerusalem, Israel to an M.D. and an Artist, Itamar decided at a young age to start playing classical guitar, alongside exploring different areas and genres of music: From improvising and writing original songs to playing various Blues, Rock and Folk music.
In 2012 Itamar was accepted to the Israeli Arts and Science Academy High-School (IASA), where he majored in the music department, absorbing precious knowledge about music theory, history and composition.
In 2019 Itamar released his debut EP album: "Thoughts of a Teenaged Man". This five tracks EP contains all original songs, varying from fun and intimate blues to complex, philosophical and experimental songs, truly in a genre of their own. Itamar wrote the album at a strange time in his life, right after he finished his service in the IDF and before getting accepted into University. This feeling, according to him, was like "being a teenager in a grown man's body".
In that same year Itamar was accepted to the Cross-Disciplinary department at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, where he continues still to hone and sharpen his skills.
With the personal guidance in composition by the head of the department, Dr. Amit Weiner, Itamar creates complex, thrilling and emotional pieces of music in his own works and to the works of other artists in video-games and animation, as well as exploring the vast world of sound design and implementing it to various degrees.
Itamar Haggai is a young and enthusiastic musician. He composes, performs and produces his music and sounds with the highest form of expression and professionalism, offering his many skills to the visionaries and creators all around the world.
